Our virtual CRO Business Model
The concept of virtual drug development (that being where a majority of the R&D activities are outsourced) is not a new one, where small biotech companies as well as certain large pharma’s have demonstrated significant operational and cost efficiencies using such a model. InSymbiosis has taken the virtual model a step further and developed and successfully implemented a fully virtual CRO (vCRO). Within our vCRO model we have created a core internal capability comprising of an expert drug development team and project management process, a regulatory compliant document and quality management system and a variety of strategies to achieve significant cost and time efficiencies. This proven internal capability provides the interface to and management of a plethora of qualified contract research and contract manufacturing organization partners through which we execute our outsourcing approach. The result is a drug development “Engine” that provides our clients with an absolutely unique way to outsource drug development.
